IRON MAIDEN ANNOUNCE ‘RUN FOR YOUR LIVES’ WORLD TOUR 2025/26
With a setlist spanning the first decades of their career and a promise to deliver their greatest show ever, IRON MAIDEN have announced their ‘Run For Your Lives’ World Tour 2025/26.
And 50 years after the band was formed in 1975 - including a Vienna date at Ernst-Happel Stadion.
IRON MAIDEN will kick off their Run For Your Lives World Tour on May 27th, 2025, in Budapest, followed by 27 stadium, festival and arena shows across Europe. The tour marks the 50th anniversary since Steve Harris formed the band in late 1975 and to celebrate this, Maiden fans are promised a very special setlist spanning the nine studio albums from ‘Iron Maiden’ to ‘Fear Of The Dark’, with their most spectacular and elaborate show ever!
Tickets go on general sale on Tuesday 24th September at @oeticket.com. As always, there will be an exclusive pre-sale for Iron Maiden Fan Club members and Trooper VIP packages will be available at all shows.
Singer Bruce Dickinson says: “Next year is a very special one for IRON MAIDEN and we’re going to be giving our fans a once-in-a-lifetime live experience. This is a tour that’s gonna put a smile on your face and a cheer in your throat. If you’ve seen us before, then get ready to take that experience to a whole new level. If you’ve never seen us, what the hell have you been waiting for? Now’s your chance to find out what you’ve been missing! IRON MAIDEN will definitely blow you away!”
Manager Rod Smallwood adds: “50 years of Maiden and I’ve been there for 46 of them! With well over 100 million albums sold, nearly 2,500 shows in 64 countries and countless millions of fans, we still enjoy every second and approach every tour as a new challenge to bring something new and exciting to our fans. For this very special tour, we’re definitely pulling out all the stops!
We’re playing the classics and fan favourites from the first nine albums: from IRON MAIDEN to FEAR OF THE DARK, many of which we haven’t played for years and probably never will again. We’ve been working hard for months to put together an even more spectacular and elaborate new show that will take the live quality of the songs to a higher level than ever before. For IRON MAIDEN and of course Eddie, these have already been some big moments and we’re really excited to see what we can achieve in our 50th year. I promise you’ll all be very happy!”
Special guests for the second half of the tour, including the Vienna show, will be Sweden’s AVATAR.

Iron Maiden is an English heavy metal band from Leyton in east London that was formed in 1975 by bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris. The band's discography has grown to include a total of thirty-seven albums: fifteen studio albums; eleven live albums; four EPs; and seven compilations.
Pioneers of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, Iron Maiden achieved initial success during the early 1980s. After several line-up changes, the band went on to release a series of US and UK platinum and gold albums, including 1982's The Number of the Beast, 1983's Piece of Mind, 1984's Powerslave, 1985's live release Live After Death, 1986's Somewhere in Time and 1988's Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. Since the return of lead vocalist Bruce Dickinsonand guitarist Adrian Smith in 1999, the band have undergone a resurgence in popularity, with their latest studio offering, The Final Frontier, peaking at No. 1 in 28 different countries and receiving widespread critical acclaim.
Considered one of the most successful heavy metal bands in history, Iron Maiden has sold over 85 million records worldwide with little radio or television support. The band won the Ivor Novello Award for international achievement in 2002, and was also inducted into the Hollywood RockWalk in Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, California during their United States tour in 2005. As of August 2011, the band has played almost 2000 live shows throughout their career. For the past 30 years, the band has been supported by their famous mascot, "Eddie", who has appeared on almost all of their album and single covers, as well as in their live shows.
