Artist description
The "Godfather of Punk" has had a checkered career behind him: He started as a drummer in several bands in high school until he founded in 1967 the Stooges and there took the microphone in his hand and drew attention to himself as extrovert frontman. He and the Stooges 2010 have been included in the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. Even with over 60 years the son of an English teacher and a baseball coach from Michigan still has fully unbundled energy on stage.
