Artist description
Vincent Damon Furnier was born as the son of a protestant pastor in Detroit in 1948. His musical career started in the early 1960s. The band "Alice Cooper" was founded in 1966, and later, Furnier adopted the band name as his legal name as well. Many years, successful tours and albums later, Alice Cooper is known as a pioneer of the shock rock scene who deserves his place of honor in der Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
